Laura and Dr. El invite you to join us for another Yin & Pins. This session is centred around the hips and pelvis, an area where many of us hold tension, emotion, and protective guarding. Through long-held yin postures and gentle acupuncture, we can create space for release, circulation, and deep rest.
The hips are more than just a physical structure, they are a meeting place of stability and vulnerability. A place where we store stress, where we brace, and where we hold.
Together, we’ll explore:
– Gentle hip-opening yin shapes to target deep connective tissue.
– Acupuncture to support relaxation, blood flow to the pelvis and hips, and nervous system regulation.
– A calm, grounded space to reconnect with your body in a supportive environment.
This session is especially supportive for women experiencing pelvic tension, menstrual discomfort, or a sense of holding within the body. That said, no specific condition is required. This is a space for anyone who feels called to soften and reconnect with this area.
For your safety, this session may not be suitable if you are in days 1–3 of menstruation, have had lower abdominal surgery within the past 10 weeks, or are under 12 weeks pregnant.
A seasonal yin yoga & acupuncture experience, hosted by Dr. Eleisha Nylund & Laura Elenbaas.
Autumn is a time of transition, a turning inward. In Chinese Medicine, this season is associated with the Metal element, & the Lung & Large Intestine meridians, which govern breath, immunity, boundaries, & our capacity to let go.
This Yin & Pins is a carefully curated experience combining the ancient practices of yin yoga & acupuncture to support the body & mind through this seasonal shift.
Yin yoga invites us to slow down through long-held, floor-based postures that gently open the body’s deeper connective tissues & nourish the meridian system.
Acupuncture works alongside this by stimulating specific points to support the smooth flow of Qi, encourage balance, & promote deep healing.
Together, these practices create a powerful yet subtle environment for regulation, release, & restoration.
